Cinnamon Bark Oil (as well as Cinnamon Leaf Oil) has been used for many uses in traditional herbal medicine.
Cinnamon Bark Oil blends well with other spicy oils such as clove, cardamon, and ginger; and citrus oils such as bergamot, sweet orange, or lemon. Use just a tiny bit with frankincense, cedar or myrrh to add a spicy counterpoint. Cinnamon Bark oil has a deeper and richer spicy scent than the powdered spice.
Cautions for Cinnamon Bark Essential Oil
Cinnamon Bark Essential Oil is irritating to the skin. Cinnamon Leaf Essential Oil is much less irritating to the skin than Cinnamon Bark oil, and is a good alternative.
