Lavender Essential Oil Collection
Test your nose with this Lavender Essential Oil Collection. Can you tell the difference between these six different types of Lavender in our Artisan Aromatics Lavender Essential Oil Kit? All are 100% pure & natural but each is a bit different from the others, sort of like wines are different if grown in different regions or under different conditions even if the variety is the same.
Why 5ml instead of the regular 15ml size?
We bottled this collection of six essential oils in 5ml bottles instead of the regular 15ml bottles to lower your cost so that you could sample all of them without spending a lot of money. Once you pick a “winner”, use one of the links below to purchase larger sizes (15ml to 4 oz.).

Note that since good quality Lavender 40/42 USA became unavailable so we replaced it in our Lavender Essential Oil Sample Kit with our Wild French Lavender (more expensive but, well worth the extra cost).
More info about the Lavender in our Lavender Essential Oil Collection
Lavender Essential Oil Description: Lavender (Lavandula angustifolia) is the most versatile of essential oils. It is said to be relaxing and refreshing and uplifts the spirits. No home should be without it. Choose your favorite lavender from our lavender essential oil kit. Our Lavender Essential Oil Kit may balance body and mind, calms and for refreshes. You may find that if you add a drop to the pillow/sheet before going to bed, it may help you to achieve peaceful sleep.
Lavender History: Lavender has a long history of use; the name coming from the Latin word “lavere”, which means “to wash”, because the Romans added Lavender to their bath water. It is the essential oil made famous by Rene-Maurice Gattefosse, who, upon burning his hand in a laboratory accident, plunged it into a container of lavender oil and immediately experienced relief from the pain. He was also intrigued to find that the burn healed without the usual blistering or scarring, and became interested in the healing power of essential oils. His studies led to the publication of the book Aromatherapie, and also popularized the term aromatherapy for the study of essential oils.
Lavender is now cultivated all over the world, including France, Russia, Bulgaria, the Himalayas and Croatia. Lavender is the most popular and widely used essential oil and for good reason: not only is it remarkably gentle and effective, but it has an almost universally beloved aroma – floral, soft, and herbaceous. This is one of the essential oils that everyone should have on hand.
Probably most well known for its ability to reduce stress, relieve anxiety and insomnia, Lavender oil is the number one choice for many when they need calming, grounding and rest. In fact, aromatherapy researchers found, when testing several different oils, that lavender oil was the most effective at relaxing brainwaves and decreasing stress.
