Dill Weed Oil is often very green in color although that can vary somewhat from season to season. It has an aroma that is herbaceous and warm, gentle and soothing. Some use it for digestive issues, but it is also helpful during times of worry and tension. Though uncommonly used, it is effective and has gained in popularity.
This oil is said to have beneficial sedating and calming effects on the nerves and may be able to help one feel relaxed and satisfied. It is also said to be useful for anxiety & tension and may help to get a good night’s sleep.
Avoid during pregnancy but is appropriate for nursing mothers.
While we do not recommend internal use (ingestion) of essential oils except under the guidance of an appropriately trained and licensed healthcare professional, Dill Seed essential oil is specifically cautioned against for oral use by people taking medication for diabetes due to potential drug interactions.
