Dill Essential Oil aka Dill Seed Oil
Some of the main components of this EO are: d-carvone, dillapiol, dhc, eugenol, limonene, terpinene and myristicin.
Other EOs that blend well with it are bergamot, caraway, nutmeg and citrus
Dill Weed EO is often very green in color although that can vary somewhat from season to season. It has an aroma that is herbaceous and warm, gentle and soothing. Some use it for digestive issues, but it is also helpful during times of worry and tension. Though uncommonly used, it is effective and has gained in popularity.
This oil is said to have beneficial sedating and calming effects on the nerves and may be able to help one feel relaxed and satisfied. It is also said to be useful for anxiety & tension and may help to get a good night’s sleep.
Avoid during pregnancy but is appropriate for nursing mothers.
